Energia Futura x Prevence: Shaping the energy culture and building the legal architecture of projects

Together with Energia Futura, we work on projects that not only generate energy but also transform the culture of energy consumption.

It is one of the most advanced energy companies in Lithuania, implementing energy infrastructure projects – from solar power plants and energy storage systems to medium- and high-voltage grid construction. The company provides full-scope engineering and construction solutions covering the entire project lifecycle – from concept and design to construction, grid connection, and long-term operation.

The Energia Futura team consists of more than 200 highly qualified professionals. The company has delivered over 300 MW of solar power projects, is currently developing more than 200 MW of projects, and over 300 MWh of energy storage capacity. Its portfolio includes hundreds of commercial and industrial projects and more than 4,000 projects for private clients.

Among the most recent completed works – the successful reconstruction of the Kaišiadorys 110 kV transformer substation. Also, a 3.195 MW solar power plant at the “High-Tech Hill” technology park, implemented for Teltonika IoT Group.

Prevence supports the client by ensuring:

🔹 Drafting of EPC and subcontracting agreements

We draft, review and negotiate construction, design and equipment installation agreements (including BESS projects), ensuring compliance with applicable laws and market standards. We work with both local and international partners (e.g., technology suppliers from Asia or Western Europe), where clear allocation of responsibilities and risk-sharing structures, appropriate warranty and insurance provisions, and proper back-to-back alignment between main and subcontract agreements are essential.

🔹 Risk management and negotiation structuring

We prepare risk matrices and contractual condition frameworks for large-scale infrastructure projects, assess legal and financial obligations prior to signature, and participate in negotiations on key contractual provisions.

🔹 Cybersecurity, data protection and IT integration documentation

We prepare supplementary agreements related to energy IT infrastructure, equipment management and maintenance services, and conduct data protection impact assessments (DPIA).

🔹 Internal processes and employment framework

As the group continues to scale, we develop structured internal documentation: executive and employee employment agreements, remuneration decisions, confidentiality undertakings, and HR policy templates.

🔹 Dispute prevention and project stability

We advise on price indexation, claims management and amicable solutions aimed at preventing commercial disputes.

These processes are led by partner Andželika Buivydė together with Simonas Milašius and Justinas Bieliauskas, combining expertise in energy law, commercial law, data protection and employment law.

The success of energy infrastructure projects depends on legal precision that operates just as accurately as the infrastructure itself.
