Prevence x Workland member story
A few years ago, Workland Lithuania trusted our idea – today it has become one of our hallmarks: the Prevence Podcast.
It’s a space where law meets business, and conversations turn into stories that rarely make it into official press releases.
Today, the podcast has nearly 3,000 subscribers and over 650,000 views, while the Workland team enables us to transform any meeting room into a filming studio within minutes.
Here, we’ve spoken with business leaders and creators – from Aurelijus Rusteika, founder of Topo Group, and Mantas Agentas, CEO of Mantinga Group, to Vitalijus Majorovas, co-founder of Pulsetto, communication expert Arijus Žakas, and Oriana Mašalė, former Vice Minister of National Defence.
Beyond the podcast, Workland spaces are part of our everyday rhythm – a place for our team’s workshops, focused work sessions, and client meetings. It’s where work, creativity, and community naturally intertwine.
Recently, Workland invited us to share our member story and discuss the legal challenges that companies often face when operating in foreign markets.
Expanding abroad always brings not only new opportunities but also different legal realities:
1️⃣ Employment law. Each country regulates employment, remote work, and executive liability differently, which can directly affect costs and reputation.
2️⃣ Corporate and tax structure. An unsuitable structure can lead to double taxation or obstacles to capital movement.
3️⃣ Licenses and permits. In sectors like logistics, fintech, health tech, or e-commerce, local authorizations are often essential before operations can begin.
4️⃣ Contracts. Agreements effective in Lithuania may not comply with rules abroad – from liability limits to warranties.
5️⃣ Data protection and IP. While the GDPR applies across the EU, its interpretation differs, and outside the EU, regulations can be even stricter. Protecting trademarks in new markets is equally crucial.
Each market brings its own dynamics, and businesses must learn to adapt to constant legal “motion” – balancing risks with opportunities.
That flexibility is what we also value in Workland – a space that reminds us daily that legal thinking and creativity can coexist beautifully.
