Represented a film producer in a dispute with a subcontractor over intellectual property rights

Our legal team represented a film producer in a complex dispute with a subcontractor hired as a cinematographer for film production. The dispute arose due to poor service quality, ultimately leading to contract termination.

The subcontractor demanded full contract payment and attempted to block the theatrical release of parts of the film they had worked on.

Using alternative dispute resolution methods, including negotiations, we secured a settlement that provided compensation to our client for incurred losses and wasted time. Additionally, we successfully negotiated a clear resolution on film distribution rights, allowing our client to freely screen the film in theaters without legal restrictions.
