We are thrilled to have contributed to the success of Freya Cultivation Systems, an ambitious agrotechnology startup that recently secured a €0.5 million investment. This funding, backed by a solid group of investors, including Coinvest Capital and BSV Ventures, marks a crucial step toward the startup’s mission to revolutionize greenhouse farming worldwide.
Throughout the investment process, Prevence’s legal team—led by senior associate Gintarė Daukšė and partner Edgaras Margevičius—provided comprehensive legal support. We advised the client, reviewed the investment agreement, and drafted the shareholders’ agreement. Additionally, we ensured all necessary documentation was in place following the legal due diligence process and represented Freya Cultivation Systems in negotiations with investors, ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction. This project once again demonstrates how a strong legal foundation and strategic approach drive business growth.
The investment will be used to construct a demonstration greenhouse near Kaunas. Freya Cultivation Systems’ patented Aeroframe technology is a game-changer in the agrotechnology industry. Using ultrasound technology, it enables up to 2x higher yields and 3x greater profitability in greenhouse cultivation. Their innovation has already gained global recognition, with applications being tested by one of the world’s largest space agencies, integrated into World Bank-funded projects in Djibouti, and utilized by biotech companies in South Africa.
At Prevence, we empower startups by providing legal expertise in shareholder relations, intellectual property protection, early-stage financing, and investment rounds. Whether navigating early-stage funding or scaling globally, we help businesses lay the right legal foundation for sustainable growth.
